Hainan Airlines to link Chongqing and Brussels
New services between Fuzhou and Surabaya, and Hong Kong to Changsha
October 6th 2025. Hainan Airlines has opened reservations for a new direct service linking Chongqing with the Belgian capital, Brussels. The flight launches on November 22nd and will operate three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Flight number HU469 will take off from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 02:50 and will arrive at Brussels Airport at 07:35. The return leg, flight number HU470, departs from Brussels at 11:20 and lands back in Chongqing at 05:10 the following morning.
A Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will make the outward journey in a little under twelve hours, and the return about one hour less.
Fuzhou to Surabaya
A new service between Fuzhou and Surabaya is to be launched by Xiamen Airlines on October 28th. The service will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Flight number MF8721 will depart from Fuzhou’s Changle International Airport at 09:00 and will arrive at Surabaya’s Juanda International Airport at 13:40. The return journey leaves Surabaya at 14:40 and arrives back in Fuzhou at 21:25.
The flight duration will be about five hours and forty-five minutes in each direction and will be served by Boeing737-800 aircraft.
Hong Kong to Changsha
Starting on November 4th, Cathay Pacific will relaunch the Hong Kong to Changsha route. The flights will operate daily, but with two different time slots and flight numbers.
On Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, flight number CX920 will depart from Hong Kong International at 19:30 and will arrive at Changsha Huanghua International Airport at 21:05. The return trip, flight number CX943, departs from Changsha at 22:10 and arrives back in Hong Kong at 23:50.
On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, flight number CX968 takes off from Hong Kong at 09:15 and lands in Changsha at 10:50. The return leg, flight number CX927, leaves Changsha at 13:05 and touches down again in Hong Kong at 14:45.
The flight time is about ninety-five minutes in each direction, and an Airbus A321neo aircraft will serve the route.
