Singapore and Hanoi are on Indigo’s route map. Batik Air to launch Penang to Medan

October 16th, 2025. IndiGo Air has two new routes lined up. First on the runway will be a flight linking Vijayawada, in Andhra Pradesh, and Singapore, which will operate three times a week, and take off on November 15th.

The service starts the day in Singapore. Flight number 6E1030 will depart from Changi Airport at 06:10 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and will arrive at Vijayawada International Airport at 07:45. In the other direction, flight number 6E1029 will leave Vijayawada at 10:05 and land in Singapore again at 6:40.

The journey time will be bout four hours in each direction and the route will be served by Airbus A320 aircraft.

Reservations have also opened for a new daily service linking Delhi with Hanoi, which will launch on December 20th.

Flight number 6E1633 will take off from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport at 07:25 and will touch down at Noibai International Airport, Hanoi at 13:00. The return trip, flight number 6E1634, will leave Hanoi at 18:00 and arrive back in Delhi at 21:25.

Airbus A320Neo will serve the route, which will take about four hours for the outbound journey and a little under five hours for the return.

Batik Air to launch Penang to Medan service

Starting on December 8th, Batik Air Malaysia will introduce daily, direct flights between Penang and Medan, the capital of Indonesia’s North Sumatra province. The city straddles the Deli River as it snakes its way towards the Strait of Malacca.

Flight Number OD312 will depart from Penang International Airport at 17:45 and will arrive at Medan’s Kualanamu International Airport at 17:45. The time difference between Penang and Medan is one hour, and the flight is also one hour, so the service appears to land at the same time it departs.

The return leg, flight number OD313, leaves Medan at 18:45 and arrives back in Penang at 20:40, after a scheduled 55 minutes in the air. The route will be served by Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
