Direct flights from Saudi to Phuket

28 August 2024: Saudi Arabia’s national flag carrier, Saudia will be adding direct flights between Jeddah and Phuket as well as between Riyadh and Phuket. The airline will operate three flights a week from each city from December 2nd.

From Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport, flight SV850 will depart at 01:45 on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays arriving in Phuket at 13:45. The return flight, number SV853, will take off from Phuket at 23:45 arriving back in Jeddah at 04:45 the following morning.

For the Riyadh to Phuket service, flight number SV852 departs from King Khalid International Airport at 11:25 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays touching down in Phuket at 22.30. The return flight, number SV851, leaves Phuket at 15:20 arriving back in Riyadh at 19:25.

The routes, which will be served by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, are part of the airline’s plans to broaden its international flight network and bring the world to Saudi Arabia. Citizens of 66 countries, including Thailand, are now eligible to apply for e-visas for tourism.

Saudia already operates daily flights from both cities to Bangkok.
