Connecting Nha Trang and Busan
New service between Manila and Beijing
Vietnam Airlines is to launch direct flights between Nha Trang and South Korea’s southern city, Busan. The service will operate four times a week on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The airline already operates direct flights to Busan from both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
This new service opens up a more central location both for departing Vietnamese and arriving Koreans, over four million of whom visited Vietnam in 2024 according to the Korea Tourism Organisation.
The new flight hits the runway on June 1st with flight VN434 which will take off from Cam Ranh International Airport at 23:35 and will arrive at Busan’s Gimhae International Airport at 06:05 the following morning. The return leg, flight number VN435 will depart from Busan at 08:00 and land back in Nha rang at 10:35.
An Airbus A321 will be deployed for the journey which will take around four and a half hours.
Manila to Beijing
Commencing on March 30th Philippine Airlines will launch direct flights between Manila and Beijing. The service will operate three times a week on Sundays. Tuesdays, and Fridays.
Flight number PR358 will depart from Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 06:55 and land at Beijing’s Capital Airport at 11:45. The return trip, flight number PR359 will leave Beijing at 12:55 and touch down again in Manila at 18:05.
The flight will be served by an Airbus A321neo and will take approximately five hours.
Currently, the airline serves Chengdu, Guangzhou, Quanzhou, Shanghai, Wuhan, and Xiamen. At present the only direct service between the two capital cities is a daily service operated by China Eastern Airlines.
