July 2nd, 2025. A new service linking Shanghai with Barcelona, the Catalonian capital and second largest city in Spain, will launch on September 26th. China Eastern Airlines will operate the flight, which will depart four times a week on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Flight number MU249 will depart from Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 00:40 and will arrive at Barcelona’s Barcelona El Prat Josep Tarradellas Airport at 08:05. The return leg, flight number MU250, will leave Barcelona at 10:55 and land back in Shanghai at 05:30 the following morning.
Airbus A350-900 aircraft will serve the flight which will take approximately thirteen and a half hours for the outbound journey and about one hour less for the return.
Taiyuan to Macau
The airline is also set to introduce a seasonal service between Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi province in China and the Macau Special Administrative Region. The service will operate on Sundays between July 20th and October 19th.
Flight number MU7331 will take off from Taiyuan Wusu International Airport at 08:40 and arrive at Macau International Airport at 11:45. The return journey, flight number MU7332, will leave Macau at 12:55 and land back in Taiyuan at 15:55.
The flight duration is scheduled for about three hours and will be served by Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
IndiGo goes from Hindon to Goa
IndiGo has added Goa to the list of destinations that it will be serving from Hindon from July 20th. Hindon is a commercial domestic airport in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, north of New Delhi.
The Goa flight will operate every day except Saturdays. Flight number 6E2574 will depart from Hindon a 11:10 and arrive at Goa Dabolim International Airport at 13:40. The return leg, flight number 6E2575 will leave Goa at 14:20 and arrive back at Hindon at 16:45
