CEB adds Manila to Riyadh
South Korea’s Air Premia goes to Washington
January 7th, 2026. Cebu Pacific is to add a service linking Manila and Riyadh to its timetable. Flights will operate four times a week on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays commencing on March 2nd.
“Our overseas Filipino workers in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East make tremendous sacrifices to support their families and contribute to the Philippine economy,” said Xander Lao, the airline’s Chief Commercial Officer. “We remain committed to providing reliable and accessible connections for Filipinos wherever they may be in the world.”
Flight number 5J740 will depart from Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 22:50 and will touch down at Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport at 04:25 the following morning. The return journey leaves Riyadh at 05:55 and arrives back in Manila at 20:45.
The outbound flight duration will be about ten and a half hours, and the return about half an hour less. The flight will be served by Airbus A330-900 Neo aircraft.
Seoul to Washington
Air Premia, a hybrid airline from South Korea, will be launching a service linking Seoul with the US capital, Washington, DC. Hybrid, according the the airline, means that it falls in between full service and budget carriers, offering a higher level of service while keeping fares competitive.
The first flight will hit the runway on April 24th and will operate four times a week on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Flight number YP135 will take off from Seoul’s Incheon International Airport at 10:00 and arrive at Washington Dulles Airport at 10:50. The return leg, flight number YP136, will leave Washington at 13:20 and arrive back in Seoul at 17:55 the following afternoon.
The airline will deploy a Boeing 787-900 aircraft for the route, and the journey time all be approximately fourteen hours for the outbound trip, and about ninety minutes longer for the return.
