British Airways returns to Kuala Lumpur
Saudia Airlines links with Bali

April 4th, 2025. Earlier this week British Airways relaunched direct flights between London and Kuala Lumpur.

“The UK is a key market for Malaysia, and we are thrilled to see British Airways returning to Kuala Lumpur with direct flights from London Heathrow”, said Sulaiman Suip, director of Tourism Malaysia UK. “This enhanced connectivity is especially significant as we approach Visit Malaysia Year 2026, providing UK travellers with even more convenient access to Malaysia’s vibrant cities, breathtaking landscapes, and rich cultural experiences.”

The service operates daily with flight number BA33 departing London’s Heathrow Airport at 21:10 and arriving in Kuala Lumpur at 17:20 the next day. The return leg, flight number BA34, departs from Kuala Lumpur at 22:50 and lands back in London at 05:25 the following morning.

The eastbound flight duration is thirteen hours and ten minutes, the return is twenty-five minutes longer. The flight will be served by a Boeing 787-900 aircraft.

Saudia Airlines links with Bali

Saudia Airlines, the flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, has launched a direct flight between Jeddah and Denpasar in Bali. The new service is scheduled to operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with a 90-minute technical stop in Singapore in each direction.

Flight number SV856 will depart from King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah at 01:10 and arrive in Singapore at 15:45. It takes off again at 17:15 finally reaching Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport at Denpasar at 20:05.

The return journey, flight number SV857 departs from Bali at 23:45 stopover in Singapore from 02:15 until 03:45 and finally arrives back in Jeddah at 07:55.

The total duration is just under fourteen hours for the outbound journey and thirteen hours and ten minutes for the return. The flight will be served by Boeing Dreamliner 787-900 aircraft.
