Bangkok to Hyderabad, Phuket to Siem Reap

Thai AirAsia will soon be adding flights between Bangkok’s Don Mueang airport and Hyderabad, the capital of India’s Telangana state, and between Phuket and Siem Reap.

Hyderabad is an important technology hub and home to the Hyderabad Information Technology and Engineering Consultancy City or HITEC City as it is better known. It also boasts several upmarket restaurants and shops and is ranked as one of the best cities in India to live.

It also has a rich history and a number of interesting sights including the Charminar, a mosque built in 1591 which is a symbol of the city. At the foot of the building is a vibrant night market

Starting from October 27th, Thai AirAsia Flight number FD 118 will depart from Don Mueang at 20.50 on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, arriving at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at 22.55 local time. The return journey, flight number FD119, takes off from Hyderabad at 23.25 and touches down in Bangkok at 04:30 the following day.

Phuket to Siem Reap

The airline will also be introducing a service between the holiday island of Phuket, in southern Thailand, and Siem Reap, home of the famous Angkor Wat and its associated temple ruins in Cambodia.

“AirAsia is committed to expanding its international reach, especially in Cambodia and India where there is significant potential,” said Thai AirAsia’s head of Commercial, Tansita Akraritpirom, “We have seen considerable growth overall on the international sector with our capacity now close to that of 2019.”

The service will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Flight number FD 612 will depart Phuket at 14.30 and arrive in Siem Reap at 16.05. From Siem Reap, Flight FD 613 departs at 16.50 and arrives back in Phuket at 18.35.
