Biman relaunches Dhaka to Tokyo, S7 link Novosibirsk, and Male
July 17th, 2026. TransNusa is to launch a new route between Jakarta and Bangkok. The service takes off on August 6th and will operate twice daily, with morning and afternoon flights, except for the first week, when there will only be the afternoon option.
The morning service, flight number 8B381, will depart from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Jakarta, at 08:20 and touch down at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 11:45. The return leg, flight number 8B382, will leave Bangkok at 12:30 and land back in Jakarta at 16:10.
In the afternoons, flight number 8B385 will take off from Jakarta at 16:40 and arrive in Bangkok at 19:55. It returns as flight number 8B-386, leaving Bangkok at 20:40 and arriving back in Jakarta at 00:20 the next morning.
The journey time will be approximately three and a half hours in each direction, and an Airbus A320-200 will be deployed.
Dhaka to Tokyo
Biman is to reintroduce its route linking the Bangladeshi capital, Dhaka, with Tokyo. The service will operate every Monday commencing on July 27th.
Flight number BG376 will depart from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka, at 02:25 and touch down at Tokyo’s Narita Airport at 12:15. The return leg, flight number BG377, will leave Tokyo at 14:00 and land back in Dhaka at 18:00.
The outbound flight is scheduled to last six hours and fifty minutes, and the return about ten minutes longer. The route will be served by a Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
Novosibirsk to Male
On October 3rd, Russia’s S7 Airlines will launch a route linking Novosibirsk, in southern Siberia, with the capital of the Maldives, Male. The service will operate twice a week on Mondays and Fridays with a 50-minute refuelling stop in Jaipur, India.
Flight number S75805 will take off from Tolmachevo Airport, Novosibirsk, at 04:25 and arrive at Velana International Airport, Male, at 13:00. The return leg, flight number S75806, will leave Male at 14:10 and arrive back in Novosibirsk at 02:30 the following morning.
The journey time will be approximately ten and a half hours in each direction, and the flight will be served by an Airbus A320 aircraft.
