Routes from Nanjing and Wuhan to Jakarta
New service from the Kazakh capital to Ulaanbaatar

April 1st, 2026. Xiamen Airlines has two new services to Jakarta lined up. A route from Nanjing will take off on April 11th, and another from Wuhan will hit the runway a day later, on the 12th.

Flight number MF8693 will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, departing from Lukou International Airport, Nanjing at 16:25. It will arrive at Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport at 21:50. The return leg, flight number MF8694, leaves Jakarta at 06:50 and arrives in Nanjing at 14:25.

A Boeing 737-800 aircraft will serve the route, and the journey time will be about six and a half hours in each direction.

The service from Wuhan will operate four times a week on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Flight number MF8683 will depart from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport at 16:40 and arrive in Jakarta at 21:50. The return journey, flight number MF8684, will leave Jakarta at 06:50 and land back in Wuhan at 14:10

The flight time will be a little over six hours each way and will be served by Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Astana to Ulaanbaatar

Kazakhstan’s Scat Airlines will launch a new service between Astana and Ulaanbaatar, in Mongolia, on June 2nd. The flight will operate twice a week, departing on Tuesdays and Fridays with a different time slot on each day.

On Tuesdays, flight number DV799 will depart from Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport at 23:40 and arrive at Chinggis Khaan International Airport, Ulaanbaatar, at 06:15 the following morning. The return trip, flight number DV800, leaves Ulaanbaatar at 07:30 on Wednesdays and lands back in Astana at 09:00.

On Fridays, DV799 leaves Astana at 21:10 and arrives in Ulaanbaatar at 03:30 the next morning. DV800 departs again at 04:30 on Saturdays and lands back in Astana at 06:00.

A Boeing 737-800 aircraft will serve the route, and the flight time will be approximately three and a half hours for the outbound flight, and an hour longer for the return.
I couldn’t get either of the airline’s websites to load at the time of writing, but Skyscanner is listing several booking agents for each flight.
