A direct flight between Bali and Danang and AirAsia X returns to Busan

January 14th, 2026. Indonesia AirAsia will launch a service linking Bali with Danang, in central Vietnam, on March 20th. The flight will operate four times a week on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. It will be the seventh international destination operated by the Indonesian branch of the airline.

“This new service strengthens tourism connectivity across Southeast Asia, giving travellers seamless access between Bali and Da Nang, a route operated exclusively by Indonesia AirAsia,” said Achmad Sadikin Abdurachman, the airline’s Acting President Director.

Flight number QZ480 will take off from Denpasar Ngurah Rai International Airport at 14:15 and will touch down at Danang International Airport at 17:55. The return trip, flight number QZ481, will leave Danang at 19:25 and will arrive back in Bali at 00:55 the next morning.

The route will be served by Airbus A320 aircraft with a journey time of about four and a half hours in each direction.

Kuala Lumpur to Busan

Starting on June 17th, the airline’s long-haul branch, AirAsia X, has lined up a relaunch of its Kuala Lumpur to Busan route.

“Building on our current route to Seoul, Busan further enhances our footprint in South Korea as we continue expanding across North Asia, which remains our strongest growth region,” said chief executive Benyamin Ismail.

The flight will operate four times a week, departing on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Flight number D7630 will take off from Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 02:20 and land at Busan’s Gimhae International Airport at 09:45. The return leg, flight number D7631, will depart from Busan at 11:00 and arrive back in Kuala Lumpur at 16:30.

The journey time will be about six and a half hours in each direction, and the flight will be on board an Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
