Jinan to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and Qingdao to Hanoi
December 8th, 2025. Shandong Airlines will be launching three new flights in the new flights in the new year. Hanoi from both Jinan and Qingdao Ho Chi Minh City from Jinan
First on the runway will be a daily service between Jinan and Hanoi which takes off on January 15th with departures on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Flight number SC8073 will take off from Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport at 22:30 and arrive at Hanoi’s Noibai International Airport at 01:20 the next morning. The return journey, flight number SC8072, will leave Hanoi at 02:20 on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays and arrive back in Jinan at 06:50.
The flight will be served by Boeing 737-800 aircraft and the duration will be a little under four hours for the outbound trip and about 30 minutes less for the return.
Jinan to Ho Chi Minh City
The Jinan to Ho Chi Minh City service will start on January 16th depart on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Flight number SC8073 will depart from Jinan at 20:35 and touch down at Ho Chi Minh’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 00:30 the next morning. The return leg, flight number SC8074, will leave Ho Chi Minh at 01:30 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and will land back in Jinan at 07:20.
The journey time will be a little under five hours in each direction and the route will be serves by Boeing737-Max 8 aircraft.
Qingdao to Hanoi
On January 17th the airline will introduce a daily service connecting Qingdao and Hanoi. Flight number SC4649 will take off from Qingdao’s Jiaodong International Airport at 22:30 and touch down in Hanoi at 01:50 the next morning. The return leg, flight number SC4650 will depart from Hanoi at 02:50 and arrive back in Qingdao at 07:30.
A Boeing 737-800 will serve the route which will last four hours and twenty minutes for the outbound flight, and three hours and twenty minutes for the return.
