New routes from Russia to China
Services from Khabarovsk and Vladivostok
November 26th, 2025. The turning of the year will see a bunch of service resumptions between Russia’s far east and China. The flights are operated jointly by Aurora Airlines and Aeroflot, deploying an Airbus A319 aircraft.
The first service to hit the runway will be a twice-weekly route between Khabarovsk and Shanghai with two different time slots starting on December 24th. On Sundays, flight number SU5476 will depart from Khabarovsk Novy Airport at 22:15 and will arrive at Shanghai’s Pudong International Airport at 00:15 the following morning. The return leg, flight number SU5476, will leave Shanghai at 01:25 on Mondays and arrive back in Khabarovsk at 07:15.
On Wednesdays, the flight will leave Khabarovsk 90 minutes later at 23:45 and arrive at 01:45. It will depart again at 02:45, arriving back at 08:35. The duration of the flight will be about four hours in each direction.
January 2nd will see the launch of a twice-weekly service connecting Khabarovsk and Beijing. Again, there will be two different time slots. On Tuesdays, flight number HZ5430 will depart from Khabarovsk at 23:55 and will touch down at Beijing’s Daxing Airport at 01:05 the next day. The return service, flight number HZ5431, will depart from Beijing at 02:15 and land back in Khabarovsk at 07:10.
The Friday service leaves Khabarovsk at 23:05 and arrives in Beijing at 01:05. The return flight leaves Beijing at 01:25 and lands back in Khabarovsk at 06:20. The journey time will be about three hours each way.
Flights out of Vladivostok
Starting on January 3rd, a service will link Vladivostok with Harbin. The flight will operate three times a week on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
At weekends, flight number HZ5472 will depart from Vladivostok International Airport at 01:50 and arrive at Harbin’s Taiping International Airport at 01:15. On Wednesdays, the departure and arrival times are 02:45 and 02:10 respectively. The return flight has three different time slots. On Saturdays, flight number HZ5473 will leave Harbin at 02:25, Sundays at 02:05, and Wednesdays at 03:20. The 90-minute flight will touch down again in Vladivostok at 05:50, 05:25, and 06:40, respectively.
A service from Vladivostok to Beijing will also launch on the same day. The flight will operate four times a week on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Flight number HZ5468 will take off from Vladivostok at 00:30 and arrive at Beijing’s Daxing Airport at 01:20. The return leg, flight number Z5469, will depart from Beijing at 02:20 and arrive back in Vladivostok at 06:50.
The outbound flight will be about two hours and fifty minutes, and around twenty minutes quicker for the return.
