New route from Khabarovsk to Kalibo
EastarJet to relaunch Seoul to Kagoshima, and Starlux to link Taipei and Manila

October 8th, 2025. IrAero will be introducing a service between Khabarovsk, in Russia’s Far East and Kalibo in the Philippines. Kalibo is on the northern coast of Panay Island in the Western Visayas near the mouth of the Aklan River. The main attractions in the city are the Bakhawan Ecopark, a mangrove forest at the mouth of the river, and the Ati-Atihan festival, which takes place every year during the second week of January. Kalibo is also one of the international gateways to the resort island of Boracay.

The service will operate once a week on Tuesdays with flight number IO-2177 taking off from Khabarovsk Novy Airport at 06:40 and arriving at Kalibo International Airport at 13:15. The return journey, flight number IO-2178, will leave Kalibo at 14:40 and land back in Khabarovsk at 01:30 the next morning.

The outbound flight duration will be about eight and a half hours, and a little under nine hours for the return. These include a one-hour technical stop in Ningbo. The flight will be served by Sukhoi Superjet 100.

Seoul to Kagoshima

Korean low-cost carrier EastarJet will relaunch its service connecting Seoul with Kagoshima. The flight will operate daily starting on November 21st.

Flight number ZE651 will take off from Seoul’s Incheon International Airport and arrive at Kagoshima at Kagoshima International Airport at 17:15. The return trip, flight number ZE652, departs from Kagoshima at 18:10 and lands back in Seoul at 19:50.

A Boeing 737-800 aircraft is earmarked for the flight, which will last for an hour and forty minutes in each direction.

Taipei to Manila

From December 16th, Starlux Airlines will resume its Taipei to Manila route.

The service will operate daily with flight number JX785 departing from Taipei’s Taoyuan International Airport at 08:20 and arriving at Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 11:05. The return journey, flight number JX786, leaves Manila at 11:50 and touches down again in Taipei at 14:05.

The flight will last for about two hours and forty-five minutes in each direction and will be served by Airbus A321Neo aircraft
