New service between Bangkok and Ahmedabad
Domestic routes in China and Japan
August 5th, 2025. On December 4th, VietJet Thailand will launch yet another service linking Thailand with India. This one connects Ahmedabad and Bangkok and complements the services from Bangkok to Kolkata and Phuket to Mumbai, as reported previously.
“We’re proud to offer greater convenience, exceptional value, and a safe, friendly flying experience as we expand our network across key destinations in the region,” Woranate Laprabang, the airline’s Chief Executive Officer.
The service will operate four times, departing on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Flight number VZ750 will take off from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport and arrive at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad, at 22:55. The return leg, flight number VZ751, departs from Ahmedabad at 23:55 and lands back in Bangkok at 05:35 the following morning.
The flight will be served by Airbus A320 aircraft with a duration of about four hours and forty-five minutes for the outbound journey and a little over four hours for the return.

Starting from September 8th, Xiamen Airlines will launch a daily domestic service connecting the Chinese coastal cities of Fuzhou and Xiamen. Both are important university towns and centres of Scientific research. Xiamen is also a major port
Flight number MF8583 will depart from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport at 08:30 and touch down at Fuzhou’s Changle International Airport at 09:20.
The return journey, flight number MF8584, will leave Fuzhou at 19:35 and arrive back in Xiamen at 20:30.
The fifty-minute flight will be served by Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Japanese carrier StarFlyer will introduce direct daily flights between its base in Fukuoka and Sendai. StarFlyer describes itself as a hybrid airline, offering a higher quality of service than budget carriers while keeping operational costs down.
The service takes off on October 3rd with flight number SFJ97 departing from Fukuoka International Airport at 11:00 and arriving at Sendai Airport at 12:45. The return trip, flight number SFJ96, takes off from Sendai at 14:45 and lands back in Fukuoka at 17:00.
Airbus A320 aircraft will serve the route, and the duration will be around two hours.
