Beijing Capital Airlines from Sanya to Seoul
July 16th, 2025. German low-cost carrier, Condor, will be launching service from Frankfurt to Sanya via Bangkok. Sanya is a beach resort on Hainan Island, the southernmost province of China.
The area boasts numerous beaches, including the 22-kilometre Sanya Bay. It also offers luxury hotels, scuba diving and snorkelling, hiking trails in Yanoda Rainforest, across suspension bridges and picturesque waterfalls.
The flight will operate three times a week, departing on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays, with a stopover in Bangkok. A change of planes is not required.
Flight number DE2362 will take off from Frankfurt International Airport at 20:10 and will arrive at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport at 12:35 the next day. It will continue its journey at 14:20, arriving at Sanya’s Phoenix International Airport at 17:20.
The return journey, flight number DE2363, will take off from Sanya on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays at 18:50, and will touch down in Bangkok at 19:50. It will take off again at 21:50 and arrive back in Frankfurt at 05:15 the following morning.
The journey time between Bangkok and Sanya is two hours in each direction. From Frankfurt to Bangkok, about eleven and a half hours and about one hour longer in the other direction. An Airbus A330-900 Neo will operate the route.
And Sanya to Seoul
Meanwhile, Beijing Capital Airlines has launched direct flights between Sanya and Seoul. The airline is a low-cost subsidiary of Hainan Airlines. The flight isn’t bookable through the official website at the time of writing, but Skyscanner offers numerous agents.
Flight number JD377 will take off from Sanya on Mondays and Fridays at 15:10 and arrive at Seoul’s Incheon International Airport at 20:25. The return leg, flight number JD378, departs from Seoul at 21:25 and lands back in Sanya at 01:10 the next morning.
The outbound flight will take about four hours and fifteen minutes the return about half an hour longer. The airline will deploy Airbus A320 aircraft for the service.
