New flights to Seoul
Thai VietJet and Uzbekistan’s Centrum both to launch new flights
July 7th, 2025. From October 1st, Thai VietJet will introduce direct daily flights between Bangkok and Seoul. K-pop and trendy fashions make Seoul a popular destination for young Thai travellers, as well as both countries being favourites of Western budget travellers.
“We aim to create more travel opportunities and seamless connectivity for our passengers while contributing to stronger economic and tourism growth between Thailand and South Korea,” said Woranate Laprabang, Vietjet Thailand’s CEO.
Flight number VZ850 will take off from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport at 01:45 and arrive at Seoul Incheon Airport at 09:20. The return journey, flight number VZ851, will leave Seoul at 11:55 and arrive back in Bangkok at 15:45.
The airline will deploy Airbus A321 aircraft for the flight. The outbound journey time will be about five and a half hours and six hours for the return.
Tashkent to Seoul
Meanwhile, Centrum Air will launch a twice-weekly service between Uzbekistan’s capital, Tashkent and Seoul from July 25th.
The service will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays with flight number C6549 taking off from Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport at 00:35 and touching down at Seoul’s Incheon Airport at 10:55. The return leg, flight number C6550, leaves Seoul at 12:05 and touches down again in Tashkent at 15:35.
The flight will be served by Airbus A321 Neo aircraft, and the duration will be approximately six and a half hours for the outbound flight and about an hour longer for the return.
