Three new routes for Scoot
Flights to Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Kota Bharu to be introduced before year-end
July 4th 2025. Singapore Airline’s low-cost subsidiary, Scoot will be launching at least three new services before the end of the year. Already in the timetable are flights to Da Nang and Nha Trang in Vietnam, and Kota Bharu in Malaysia. There are also plans to introduce services to Labuan Bajo and Medan in Indonesia though these are still awaiting regulatory approval and not open for booking yet.
First on the runway will be the service to Da Nang which will take off on October 25th. It will initially operate three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays but will increase to daily from December 1st.
Flight number TR312 will depart from Singapore’s Changi Airport at 11:00 and arrive at Da Nang International Airport at 12:50. The return journey, flight number TR315, leaves Da Nang at 17:35 and arrives back in Singapore at 21:20.
The flight duration will be a little less than three hours with Airbus A320 aircraft earmaked for the outbound flight and A321 Neo for the return.
Nha Trang
The Nha Trang will launch on November 21st with two flights a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. This will increase to five a week from January 1st with the addition of flights on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays.
The flight starts its day in Nha Trang with flight number TR317 taking off from Cam Ranh International Airport at 12:35 and arriving in Singapore at 15:55. The return leg, flight number TR318, departs from Singapore at 16:10 and touches down back at Nha Trang at 17:30.
The flight will be served by Embraer E190-E2 aircraft and will take about two hours and twenty minutes in each direction.
Kota Bharu
The service to Malaysia’s Kota Bharu takes off on October 26th with two flights a week on Sundays and Fridays.
Flight number TR460 will depart from Singapore at 20:40 and arrive at Sultan Ismail Petra Airport, Kota Bharu at 21:55. The return trip, flight number TR461, leaves Kota Bharu at 22:30 and arrives back in Singapore at 23:55.
The airline will also deploy Embraer E190-E2 aircraft for the journey which will last about 75 minutes in each direction.
