United add flights from Hong Kong to Southeast Asia
April 28th, 2025. A new flight linking Hong Kong with Dallas has just been launched. As of April 24th, the city’s flag carrier is operating four flights a week to Dallas, Texas, departing on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Flight number CX876 departs from Hong Kong International Airport a Chek Lap Kok at 16:05 and Lands at Dallas Fort Worth at 17:55. The return journey, flight number CX875 departs from Dallas at 22:55 and touches down back in Hong Kong at 04:35 two calendar days later.
The flight is served by Cathay’s flagship Airbus A350-1000 aircraft and the duration for the outward journey is fourteen hours and fifty minutes and the return is almost two hours longer at sixteen hours and forty minutes.
United add flights from Hong Kong to Southeast Asia
Reservations have opened for United Airlines services between Hong Kong and Bangkok as well as Hong Kong and Ho Chi Minh City. Neither destination has been served by the airline for eight years or more. The new daily flights will both take off on October 26th.
First on the runway will be flight number UA822 to Bangkok. The service will depart Hong Kong at 09:00 and arrive at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport at 10:50. The return leg, flight number UA821 will take off from Bangkok at 16:40 and arrive back in Hong Kong at 20:45.
The journey to Bangkok will take two hours and fifty minutes, the return about fifteen minutes longer and will be served by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
The service to Ho Chi Minh, flight number UA152, will depart from Hong Kong at 21:15 and arrive at Ho Chi Minh’s Tan Son Nhat Airport at 22:55. The return journey, flight number UA153, will leave Ho Chi Minh at 06:00 and land back in Hong Kong at 09:35.
The flight will also deploy a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and the journey time will be about two hours and forty minutes each way
