TransNusa has launched flights between Bali and Guangzhou

April 18th, 2025. Pakistan International Airways will resume its service linking the country’s second-largest city, Lahore, with Baku the capital of Azerbaijan. The route hasn’t been in operation since November 2023. The new flight will commence on April 20th and will operate twice a week on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Flight number PK159 will take off from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport at 11:50 and arrive at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Baku at 15:30. The return leg, flight number PK160, leaves Baku at 16:45 and arrives back in Lahore at 21:55.

The flight will be served by Airbus A320 aircraft. The outbound flight time will be four hours and forty minutes, the return is thirty minutes faster.

Bali to Guangzhou

Indonesia’s TransNusa has launched direct flights between the holiday island of Bali and Guangzhou in southern China.

“Our main priority and focus is to create new exciting routes for our passengers and offer seamless and fast travels, whether through direct routes or transit routes,” said TransNusa Group’s CEO Datuk Bernard Francis. “With the launch of this new route, we hope to provide tourists from China additional options to travel to the Island of Gods, Bali”

The service will operate four times a week with departures on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

Flight Number 8B-969 departs from Bali’s I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar at 20:15 and arrives at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 01:00 the following morning. The return journey, flight Number 8B-968, takes off from Guangzhou at 02:05 on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, and touches down again in Bali at 07:40.

The outbound flight time is four hours and forty-five minutes and five hours and thirty-five minutes for the return. The aircraft is an A320-200.
