Philippine Airlines goes to Vietnam
Cebu to Ho Chin Minh City and Manila to Da Nang
April 11th, 2025. Philippine Airlines has two new services to Vietnam lined up for the near future. First on the runway will be a daily, direct flight between Cebu and Ho Chi Minh City which will take off on May 2nd.
Flight number PR587 will depart from Mactan International Airport, Cebu at 22:55 and arrive at Ho Chi Minh’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 00:55 the next morning. The return journey, flight number PR588, will leave Ho Chi Minh at 01:55 and land back in Cebu at 06:05.
The duration of the outward flight will be three hours, and the return, ten minutes longer. The airline will deploy Airbus A321 aircraft for the trip.
Manila to Da Nang
From July 1st the flag carrier will launch a direct service between Manila and Da Nang, in central Vietnam
“We at Philippine Airlines are excited to strengthen our close relationship with the Vietnamese people by introducing direct Manila-Danang flights,” said Stanley Ng, the airline’s President and Chief Operating Officer. “PAL is committed to offering greater connectivity and promoting tourism and commerce between our capital city and the central Vietnamese heartland. We look forward to welcoming more leisure and business travellers onboard our flights to Danang.”
The service will operate initially on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays though there are plans to increase the service to daily.
Flight number PR585 will take off from Manila at 11:10 and arrive at Danang International Airport at 12:45. The return leg, flight number PR586 will leave Danang at 13:35 and arrive back in Manila at 1710.
The flight will be served by Airbus A321 aircraft and will last two hours and thirty-five in each direction.
