Aero K to fly from Seoul to Jinan

March 28th, 2025. Starting from April 29th Hong Kong Airlines will launch direct flights between its home base and Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia, an autonomous region in China’s far northeast. The area is characterised by extensive flat grasslands with its primary scenic features being the the Hulun and Buir lakes. The latter straddles the Mongolian Border.

Hulunbuir boasts a population of around 2.5 million and its major landmark the Da’er Jilin Si, a Tibetan Buddhist monastery which is located to the north of the city.

Flight number HX463 is scheduled to take off from Hong Kong’s Chek Lap Kok Airport at 12:15r on Tuesdays and arrive at Hulunbuir Hailar Airport at 16:55. The return leg, flight number HX462, will leave Hulunbuir at 17:55 and arrive back in Hong Kong at 23:00.

From June 5th a second weekly flight will be added on Thursdays.

The flight will be served by Airbus A320 aircraft and the duration for the northbound flight will be four hours and forty minutes and a little over five hours for the return.

From Seoul to Jinan

Korean low-cost carrier, Aero K will be launching a twice-daily service between Seoul and Jinan the capital of Shandong province in China. Jinan is one of the world’s leading scientific research centres and home to a number of prestigious universities. It is approximately 365 kilometres south of Beijing.

The flights will commence on April 21st with the morning service, flight number RF881, departing Seoul’s Incheon Airport at 06:50 and landing at Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport at 08:00. The return leg, flight number RF882 will depart from Jinan at 08:55 and arrive back in Seoul 12:00.

The afternoon trip will see flight number RF883 taking off from Seoul at 13:05 and touching down in Jinan at 13:50. It will depart from Jinan as flight number RF884 and land back in Seoul at 18:05.

The airline will deploy Airbus A320 aircraft and the flight time will be a little over two hours.
