TransNusa and Aero Dili fly to China
March 18th, 2025. Starting on April 13, TransNusa will launch a service to connect Bali with Guangzhou in southern China. The flight will operate four times a week and has been specifically tailored to connect with the airline’s Bali to Perth service.
“With the launch of our new Bali-Guangzhou route, passengers can now enjoy one of the fastest scheduled connecting flights to either Guangzhou or Perth via the airline’s hub in Bali, with a transit duration of either one hour and 30 minutes or two hours and 35 minutes, depending on the day and time of the scheduled flights,” said TransNusa Group CEO Datuk Bernard Francis.
Flight number 8B-969 will depart from Bali International Airport at Denpasar on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 20:15 and arrive at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 01:00 the following morning. The return trip will depart from Guangzhou at 02:05 and touch down again in Bali at 07:40.
The outbound journey is four hours and forty-five minutes, five hours and thirty-five for the return. The flight will be served by A320-200 aircraft.
Aero Dili flies to Xiamen
The flag carrier of Timor-Leste, Aero Dili, has recently launched direct flights between Dili and Xiamen, in China’s Fujian province. The service operates once a week, departing on Tuesday evenings and returning in the small hours of Wednesday morning.
Flight number 8G 881 takes off from Dili’s Presidente Nicolau Lobato International Airport at 18:30 and arrives at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport at 23.00. The return leg, flight number 8G 882 departs from Xiamen at 00.30 and lands back in Dili at 07.00.
The flight duration is five and a half hours in each direction and is served by Airbus A320 aircraft.
