New service between Phnom Penh and Hong Kong
HK Express links the last of the Okinawa islands
March 5th, 2025. Commencing on April 1st, Cambodia Airways will launch a new direct service between the nation’s capital and Hong Kong. The flight will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Flight number KR507 will take off from Phnom Penh International Airport at 07:45 and arrive at Hong Kong’s Chek Lap Kok Airport at 11:25. The return journey, flight number KR508, will leave Hong Kong at 12:25 and touch down again in Phnom Penh at 14:00.
The flight duration will be about two hours and forty minutes in each direction and will be served by Airbus A319 aircraft.
HK Express links the last of the Okinawa islands
Starting from June 27th until October 24th HK Express will reinstate its seasonal service of four flights a week to Miyako, part of an archipelago to the south of Okinawa.
The islands offer a wide range of outdoor activities including snorkelling and diving amongst coral reefs, as well as some of Japan’s best beaches.
The service will operate on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Flight number UO814 will depart from Hong Kong at 14:10 and arrive at Miyako Shimojishima Airport at 17:25. The return leg, flight number UO815, will take off from Miyako at 18:10 and arrive back in Hong Kong at 19:35.
After the launch of this flight, HK Express will be the only airline offering direct flights between the city and all three of Okinawa prefecture’s international airports and ten destinations in total across Japan offering a wide range of options whether you are looking for a weekend break or a more in-depth itinerary.
