New Bamboo flights to Bangkok
Thai Vietjet to Phú Quốc
October 22nd, 2024. Vietnamese carrier Bamboo Airlines is reinstating its Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok service starting from November 26th. The airline has new owners and has undergone significant restructuring. It resumed domestic flights earlier in the year and this daily service marks its return to international skies.
Flight number QH323 will take off from Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 11:15 and arrive at Bangkok’s Don Mueang International at 12:55. The return leg, flight number QH324, will depart from Bangkok at 14:00 and touch down again on Ho Chi Minh at 15:45.
The flight in each direction takes about one hour and 45 minutes and will be served by an Airbus A321.
Thai Vietjet to Phú Quốc
Starting from October 27th Thai Vietjet is increasing the number of its flights to the southern Vietnamese island to twice a day. The extra flights are to meet the winter season’s holiday traffic and offer both morning and afternoon departures.
Phú Quốc is a popular holiday island just to the west of the southern tip of Vietnam, It is a little less the 50 kilometres from north to south and about half that at its widest point. The island boasts good hiking as well as white sand beaches and resorts.
The first flight of the day, flight number VZ980, will depart from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport at 09:40 and land in Phú Quốc at 11:00. The return journey, flight number VZ981, will leave Phú Quốc at 12:00 and touch down at 13:20.
The afternoon departure, flight number VZ982, will take off from Bangkok at 14:40 and touch down in Phú Quốc at 16:00. The return leg, flight number VZ983, will depart Phú Quốc at 16:45 and land back in Bangkok at 18:05.
Both flights deploy an Airbus A320 and the duration is about one hour and 20 minutes.
