Two new services from Vietjet
October 11th, 2024. Vietjet is introducing new routes between Hanoi and Kuala Lumpur and between Ho Chi Minh City and Tainan, in Taiwan.
The flights between Hanoi and Kuala Lumpur will operate daily and will take off on November 28th. Flight number VJ905 will depart from Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport at 07:20 and arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 11:40. The flight will last three hours and twenty minutes and will be served by an Airbus A320.
The return leg, flight number VJ906, will take off from Kuala Lumpur at 12:40 and land back in Hanoi at 15:05.
Ho Chi Minh City to Tainan
The service between Ho Chi Minh City and Tainan is slated to be launched on December 12th though at the time of writing Vietjet Air’s online booking form hadn’t been updated. The service is scheduled to operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The flight will depart from Ho Chi Minh’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 07:15 and land in Tainan at 11.30.
The return leg will take off from Tainan at 12:30 and arrive back in Ho Chi Minh at 14:45
Additionally, the airline will be increasing the number of flights on some of its more popular routes. Hanoi to Nagoya and Hanoi to Siem Reap will both operate daily. Hanoi to Busan, in South Korea will be increased to twice a day. The Ho Chi Minh City to Vientiane route will become daily and Ho Chi Minh City to Bali will be increased to 49 flights per week.
