New flights from Korea to Japan and China

September 10, 2024. Korean Air is expanding its network with a number of flights to China and Japan.

Flights from Seoul’s Incheon to Mudanjiang, in China’s Heilongjiang province will commence from 22 October and deploy a Boeing 737-800. It will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Flight number KE119 will depart from Incheon at 10:05 and arrive in Mudanjiang at 11:50. The return journey, flight number KE120 will leave Mudanjiang at 12:50 landing back in Seoul at 16:30.

From December 1st the airline will operate a daily service between Busan and Qingdao. Utilising an Airbus A321-neo Flight Number KE2239 will take off from Gimhae International Airport in Busan at 10:45 and arrive in Qingdao at 11:55 local time. The return flight, number KE2240 will leave Qingdao at 13:05 arriving back in Busan at 16:00. The flight time is approximately two hours.

Flights between Incheon and Taichung, in Taiwan, have just started operating on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays but will increase to daily from October 26th. Flight number KE189 departs Incheon at 15:10 arriving at Taichung around three hours later at 17:05 local time. The return flight, number KE190, leaves Taichung at 18:05 touching down in Seoul at 21:55.

Services to Japan

From October 27th, Korean Air will relaunch its seasonal route between Seoul Incheon and Nagasaki. The service will operate on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Flight number KE797 will take from Incheon at 08:00 and arrive in Nagasaki ninety minutes later at 09:30. The return journey, flight number KE798, will leave Nagasaki at 10:30 and touch down back in Seoul at 12:30.

Until October 26th the airline will be operating four flights a day between Incheon and Osaka, up from the previous three.
