New Caledonia to Paris via Bangkok

September 18th, 2024. Starting from December 11th New Caledonia’s flag carrier, Aircalin, will operate flights between Noumea and Paris. The flight, served by an Airbus A330-900 neo, will take off twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays and take almost 26 hours.

New Caledonia is a French territory in the Pacific Ocean midway between Fiji and the Australian city of Brisbane. New Caledonia has a population of around 270,000, most of whom live in the capital, Noumea.

Flight number SB500 will depart from Noumea’s La Tontouta International Airport at 01:45 and arrive at Paris, Charles De Gaulle Airport at 17:25.

The return flight, number SB501, will leave Paris at 20:30 and arrive back in Noumea at 06:30 two days later according to the calendar. The return flight is scheduled to take 24 hours exactly.

Although the flight stops at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport it appears to be only a refuelling stop only.

Delhi to Kuala Lumpur and Guangzhou to Adelaide

Air India has launched new non-stop flights between Delhi and Kuala Lumpur. The new flight operates daily. Flight number AI 384 departs from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport at 13.00 arriving at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 21:00

The return journey, flight number AI 385 takes off from Kuala Lumpur at 08:30 landing back in Delhi at 11:25. The flight deploys an Airbus A320 Neo.

Other destinations in Southeast Asia served by Air India are Singapore, Bangkok, Phuket, Ho Chi Minh City, and Yangon.

China Southern is resuming its Guangzhou to Adelaide service from December 12th. The route will use a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner and will operate three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Flight number CZ663 will depart from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 2210 and arrive at Adelaide International Airport at 0955 the following morning.

The return journey, flight number CZ664, leaves Adelaide at 11.30 on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Mondays arriving back in Guangzhou at 18:05.
